This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you use the Snaplet mobile application and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

Photos and Images: When you use our app to edit screenshots and photos, these images are processed locally on your device. We do NOT upload, store, or have access to your images.

Important: Your photos and images are NEVER sent to third parties. They are processed entirely on your device.
Your Consent for Personalized Ads
When you first open Snaplet, we will ask for your permission to show personalized ads. This is a separate choice from Apple's App Tracking Transparency.

What you'll be asked:
- Whether you'd like to see ads personalized to your interests
- This is shown once when you first use the app
Your choices:
- Accept Personalized Ads: Ads will be tailored based on your app usage and interests
- Show Generic Ads Only: You'll still see ads, but they won't be personalized
Important: Your choice is stored securely on your device and can be changed by contacting us or resetting the app.
App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
On iOS devices, you may also see Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. This is a system-level permission required for cross-app tracking.
- If you Allow Tracking: We may use your device's advertising identifier for personalized ads
- If you Deny Tracking: You will see generic ads only

Your Privacy Choices
Ad Consent (In-App)
- Your initial choice is saved when you first open the app
- To change your choice: Contact us at hassaneodesk@gmail.com or reinstall the app
- Your consent is stored securely and never leaves your device
Tracking Consent (iOS System)
- Control tracking permissions through iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Snaplet
- This affects cross-app tracking and ad personalization
Photo Access
- We only access photos you explicitly select
- You can revoke photo access anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Snaplet
Ad Personalization
- Control through our in-app consent (shown on first launch)
- Or opt out of personalized ads: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → Personalized Ads (OFF)
Data Retention
- Images: Your images are never uploaded. They remain on your device and we have no access to them.
- Analytics Data: Retained by Firebase Analytics according to their retention policies (typically 2-14 months)
- Advertising Data: Managed by Google AdMob according to their retention policies
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical measures to protect information, but please note:
- Your images are processed and stored locally on your device
- We do not have access to your images
- Analytics and advertising data is handled by Google's secure infrastructure
Children's Privacy
Snaplet does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is rated for general audiences and does not target children.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
